​Russ has been helping retirees and pre-retirees plan their “second life” for over 30 years. Being an Investment Advisor Representative with Horter Investment Management, LLC, Russ serves in a fiduciary role to his clients.  He specializes in retirement lifestyle planning with an emphasis on money management and lifetime income. He introduces his clients to a new way of thinking about money, investing, and retirement planning. This gives them the freedom to focus on what’s important in their life. Furthermore, he’s also proficient in developing and implementing estate planning strategies by working closely with experienced CPA's and attorneys. Russ is Past President of the two local chapters of financial services organizations.  On a personal note, Russ has been actively involved with Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) for many years. Russ and his wife Jackie have one daughter, Katie, who along with son-in-law J.T. has given them three beautiful granddaughters.  Russ has strong roots in Fort Worth as a resident since 1978.

Laurie has been assisting individuals with their insurance and investment planning needs for over 15 years.  Laurie enjoys helping clients determine their retirement income goals, expenses, budget, and the actions and decisions necessary to achieve their goals. Planning for the future allows individuals to enjoy retirement and to focus on what is important in life.  Russ and Laurie became partners in our business in 2018. On a personal note, Laurie has been married for 25 years and has 3 children and recently gained a daughter-in-law.  Over the years, Laurie has enjoyed volunteering in her children’s various activities that include high school band, sports, cheerleading as well as being a member of the Colleyville National Charity League for the last 6 years.
